Donna Morrow
I am a Senior Lecturer at the College of
Education, University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand. My teaching focuses on the integration of digital tools and strategies to support
teaching and learning across the curriculum. I work with primary and secondary pre-service teachers and through our Post Grad program work with inservice teachers as well. I have for ten years been involved in developing and teaching in online environments. I am originally from North Carolina and have been interested in the ways that digital tools and strategies can motivate and engage students since I began working with technology, starting in 1986 at Ligon Middle School and later at Enloe High School. I went to New Zealand in 1998 and have been living and working there for the last 14 years. My research interests
center on the use of information and communication technologies to support
learning, and the connection
between digital tools and strategies and the writing process. Along with Megan Poole, I was Technology Liaison for the Capital Area Writing
Project at North Carolina State University from 2007-2010.
